Rates

We charge a rental tariff, plus a security bond, which is refundable.

Rental tariff

The rental tariff varies depending on how long you want to stay, the time of year, whether or not it is school holidays and how many adults and children are staying at the house.

A deposit amounting to 50 per cent of the rental tariff is payable at the time of booking. This secures the booking for you.

The balance of the tariff (and the security bond) is payable at least 4 weeks prior to your stay.

 

Specials

We sometimes offer last minute, specially discounted rates if we have a gap in bookings. This can happen at any time of year.

Security bond

All guests are asked to pay a security bond.

The amount of the bond varies according to the number of adults and children staying at the house. The minimum bond amount is usually $600.

The security bond is payable with the balance of the tariff, at least 4 weeks prior to your stay.

The security bond is refundable in full within 10 days of guests leaving the property, provided the house is left in the same condition in which it was found. Please see our terms and conditions of stay provided at the time of booking.

I am afraid that we cannot allow guests, who have not paid both the full rental tariff and security bond prior to their stay, access to the house. Our caretakers cannot accept rental tariff or bond payments.

The security bond will be refunded to the bank account that you nominate at the time of booking.

 

Payment methods

You may pay your rental tariff and security bond via internet banking or by paying your monies into our account at any Commonwealth Bank. You will be provided with bank details at the time of booking.

I am afraid that we do not have credit card facilities.

 

Linen hire

You may hire top and bottom sheets, pillow cases and bathroom towels from us at Nuns Beach House for an additional fee of $25 per person rather than bring your own.

 

We usually require a minimum of 7 days' notice for linen hire.

 

Heating in Winter

There is a $15/day surcharge in Winter for the gas fireplace heating.

The above rates are based on rental of the upstairs part of the house only for up to 8 people.

There is an extra charge of $200 if you would like to rent downstairs as well.

Groups comprising more than 8 people will attract additional charges.

Nuns sleeps 12 in total incl. children.

We believe the house is best suited to a maximum 6 adults and 6 children.

Weekend bookings usually commence on a Friday, but may commence on a Saturday.

Weekly bookings can commence any day of the week depending on availability.

Mid-week bookings Sun/Mon - Fri usually attract very attractive rates.
